CNC Swiss/Multi-Tasking
CNC Swiss/Multi-Tasking
At Tancredi Machining, Inc., our Swiss and Multi-Tasking capabilities allow us to produce complex, high-precision parts with exceptional efficiency. These machines combine turning, milling, drilling, and secondary operations into one seamless process - reducing lead times, improving accuracy, and lowering overall cost for our customers.
What Is CNC Swiss/Multi-Tasking?
Swiss-style machining uses a sliding headstock design that supports the material close to the cutting tool. This allows for extremely tight tolerances, excellent surface finishes, and precise machining of long, slender, or detailed components.
Multi-Tasking platforms combine multiple machining operations in one machine - turning, milling, drilling, tapping, and even simultaneous multi-axis work - eliminating the need for multiple setups.
Why Choose CNC Swiss/Multi-Tasking?
- Tight Tolerances & High Precision
- Ideal for small or intricate components where accuracy is critical.
- One-and-Done Machining
- Multiple operations in a single cycle-reducing stack-up error and ensuring repeatability.
- Faster Lead Times
- Less part handling and fewer setups mean your parts move through production faster.
- Better for Complex Geometries
- Perfect for parts with multiple features, cross-holes, threads, and tight dimensional requirements.
- Cost-Effective Production
- Shorter cycle times + minimized secondary operations = reduced pricing.
